Action Packed day
Today was action packed for us. To start with Salena hosted Sharlene's baby shower. Here are some highlights.
Here is the guest of honor. The theme was the King of the Jungle. What's a shower without a few games. 
Next is present opening time.
She got some really cute clothes. Several blankets and plenty of oneses. No shower is complete without plenty of food and this was no exception. Salena had quite the spread. Being the creative person that she is, we had the cute lion cupcakes.
The second event for the day was celebrating Alex's 15th birthday. His birthday is actually on Tuesday 7/15, but Tori and I will be gone, so he wanted to celebrate before we left. He opened his presents and then we went to dinner. Granny and Pappa joined us at Applebees. Later we continued to celebrate with an Ice Cream Cake from Cold Stone.
I know.... it is really hard to believe that I got him to pose for a picture. It took some trickery to get the smile, but I did........
The Third event for the day was our 28th wedding anniversary, amazing. How the time has flown by.
Tori and I leave tomorrow morning for the coast, so we had packing to do today as well.
