After Christmas is over the house always looks so bare.  January is all wintery and white (cold), so it’s perfect for decorating with Snowmen.  I’ve been thinking about what I want or will need - searching pinterest for ideas.  Found this saying and decided to make my own printable.  I have made two version and I’m trying to decide which I like better. Thought it was time for a update on my weight loss journey since it’s been a while.  Drum roll, Please…………… 5 pounds to goal!!!!  I have lost 61 pounds since the middle of January.  One more pound and I will no longer be overweight, I will be at a healthy weight. Confession time** I set my goal weight at the top of the normal range because 66 pounds seemed like a daunting number, but now that I’m almost there I’m thinking about lower it to more of the middle of range.  The charts that I looked at show 145 as the ideal weight for my age and height. That would be only another 10 pounds after I reach my 155 goal. Love you all Mitzi

I was surprised to realize that I haven’t posted anything for almost two months.  I was very busy in August helping Tori get moved into her new place and working on getting her projects done.  I’m hoping to post pictures of those some time soon.  Any way, I’m 14 pounds from my goal.  I’m so excited to be so close.  We had our annual health assessment for insurance at work this last week, and I’m proud to say that I blew it out of the water. I mean way out…………. The only area that I didn’t make was my BMI, which I expected since I’m not at my goal weight but it was only less than 2 points from a “Healthy weight”.  Blood pressure was 120/78 (they want 120/80). Cholesterol (bad) was 173 (they want under 200).  Note: last year it was 268  BOOM!!!! Cholesterol (good) was 49 (they want 50) Blood Sugar was 86 (they want under 90) I’m between a size 8 and 10. Now you are up to date on my progress.  I am just so excited that things are going so well. Love all the support from f

I have reached another milestone on my journey.  I’m at 175 lbs., lost 46 lbs., have 20 lbs. to goal. June was a slow moving month but I got things going again in July.  I have to say that since I have started this journey I have not gained any weight.  There have been a few weeks that I didn’t loose, but I haven’t had any ups in my graph. Sometimes I think that goal is still miles away, but I just remind myself that is what I thought when I started and look where I am now. This has become my motto……. I just keep plodding along……. I’m having so much fun making digital scrapbooking templates/page. I’ve been going through my pictures and scanning them into the computer so that I can keep making them.  Here are a couple of the templates I just completed.  Just need to decide what pictures to drop into them. I’m 22 weeks into my weight loss journey and it is going steady.  I’m down 40 pounds, 18% of my body weight lost and averaging about 2 pounds a week. I have 26 pounds to get to goal.  I’m not complaining.  Love you ALL ~~ Mitzi

I love the beach!!! It would be my dream to leave on the beach or close.  I keep hoping that all the prediction from the 70’s about California falling into the ocean would come true. A person can dream, can’t they?! So instead I have decorated my bathroom with a beach theme.  Today I made a new chalkboard art to change things up a little.  Here’s the designed piece. My Niece Salena is quite the party planner.  She did a birthday party for her son Deacon who was turning 4 and Hunter (Ryan & Terri’s son) who was turning 15 in conjunction with Mother’s day.  It was a Dr. Seuss theme and part of the mother’s day was for the kids to dress up their mothers. On May 18th my baby girl graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General Business.  Here are some pictures of my beautiful daughter. This is Chad, her boyfriend. (you can see what her cap looks like for the picture above) This is her best friend – Shandra Dana and I are so proud of her and this great accomplishment.
