Day trip

Image
Sunday turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day. Dana & Alex wimped out on us, so Tori and I made the trip by ourselves. We drove down to see Shoshone Falls. It is the best waterflow in two decades and it was beautiful. I recommend the trip in the next couple of weeks if you can make it. Here are a few pictures.

Easter Sunday

Image
Easter Sunday is a time for Family. We met at Salena's house for dinner. I got everyone together for a group picture before we ate. Then we pulled out the games. One game we played was one of the little boys games called "Snorta". Every one has farm animal and a barn (Like the Jones's Beauties are pointing out). Then everyone has cards with animals on them that you turn over one at a time. When your card matches someone elses card you have to make their farm animals sound. It's sounds easy but it really was challenging to remember everyones sound. We laughed so hard. This game was called "Measure Salena's belly". Just Kidding You're right, Salena. It did end up on my Blog. :) Charlie, Chris and Dad were discussing and planning Shaved ice shacks. Sorry Ryan, ended up getting your eyes closed. I had a very enjoyable time. We missed Dana & Alex, Sky, Jessie & Avery, Darrin, Becky and kids and Mark, Shelley & Brett. Hopefull

Frantic Moments

WOW Senior Prom............ What an event! Here are the pictures of the Prom. You probably noticed that she isn't wearing the purple dress that I gave you a sneak preview of. Well there is a story behind that. We had a small disaster. Tori was going to Kristen's apartment to get ready and the boys were all picking them up there. I was going to meet them at the train depot at 6:15 to take pictures. I was driving to the train depot when I get a frantic phone call from Tori about something being all over her dress. Obviously I couldn't do anything about it on the phone, so I told her I would go home and pick up her last year's prom dress and bring it to Kristen's. I could see if we could fix her new dress, but if not she could wear this one. When I got there, sure enough she has black spots all over the front of her dress. They look like dark grease stains. We had no idea how they got there. It looks like it rubbed up against something but it was in plastic and there i

Decisions and Dances

Image
Well I think Miss Tori has made a decision about College. She is going to go to BSU (yippee) but she wants to stay in the dorms (not so yippee). Actually I think she will have a good time living in the dorms, even if it would be cheaper to stay at home. I want her to have the whole college experience, plus she needs to be more self-sufficient which is a scary thought. It is Prom this coming Saturday night. She is getting very excited. We have the dress, we have the shoes, she's been tanning for a couple of weeks, got the nails done, scheduled the hair and makeup appointment, bought the tickets, planned the dinner (PF Changs), scheduled the photographer (oh, that's me) to meet at the train depot at 6:00, ordered the boutonniere (oops, forgot to call today, of well, there's still time tomorrow~ don't tell her)......whew.... I can't wait until we have to do the wedding......JUST KIDDING.......I can wait, a loooooong time. Here is a sneak peek at the dress. We took the

Is it Spring yet?!?

Image
I want it to be spring sooooo bad. I'm tried of the cold. I could not believe that it was snowing today and it is so bitter cold. I feel really sorry for Tori tonight having to sit out in the cold at the softball game. I do see signs of spring coming. This lonely little daffodil is coming up in our drive way. I have no idea where or how it got planted but it is determined to brighten up the drive way.
