That would be Ryan, Terri planned a surprise party for him at Salena and Jarron’s house.  We were supposed to arrive at 4:30 but Ryan ended up going to a baptismal so they pushed back the time. Then Salena called him to plead her computer problem so that he would come over.  That turned out to be a challenge, so almost had to cry to get him to come over.  He was hungry and wanted to cook his pizza.  Finally he agreed to come…Whew Here are the kids waiting. And waiting… And still waiting… Finally he arrives Greeted by family Here are some pictures of the decorations and people mingling and the food Oh we even had our own disco ball thanks to Zach’s work. Fun time was had by all.  Including the Birthday Boy.  We love you, Ryan!!! Love you ALL ~~ Mitzi

Grandkids …

… come in all different shapes, styles and species.  Met Simba aka the demon (per Alex).  This is Tori’s cat, who spends more time at grandma and grandpa’s than he does his house.  She feels bad that she not home much plus her roommate isn’t very fond of him. He looks very nice here, but he has been know to be mean. Simba is entertaining and challenging.  Dana really enjoys playing with him and making new toys for him.  He is a vocal cat and likes to tell you all kinds of stories.  He is aggressive and bosses the dogs around. But we do love him.  Love you ALL ~~ Mitzi

It’s Monday it must be….

WEIGH DAY This week was much better.  Still got hungry but the meals did make the hungry go away for a while.  Generally by the time I got hungry it was time to eat again.  Struggling a little bit with the Lean and Green meal which is the one that I thought would be the easiest.  So I decided to buy the cookbook this next order to help with some ideas. Drum roll please…………. Lost 3 lbs.. I’m happy with that, makes a total of 8 lbs. in two weeks.  Two more pounds and I met my first goal. Love you ALL ~ Mitzi

Journey

Image
Welcome to my journey. January 13th I started my journey for a healthier me. I wanted a place to document my goals, successes, and struggles so I thought blogging about them might be a great place to start. I'm not a writer so this might not be well written or entertaining, but it is a place for me to speak my heart. So here goes............ This was week on on the medifast plan. In December a co-worker who used to attend weight watchers with me when we had an 'at work' program recently become a health coach for "Take Shape for Life". She approached me about this program that she has had great success with, and she looked amazing. She said it was very easy to follow, no counting calories or points, just eat 5 medifast meals and 1 lean & green meal a day. Simple....... I did some reach and tried her samples of the meals and decided to give it a go. I told myself I would give it a month and see how it goes. I ordered my food so that it was here when

This was the view from our condo.  I sat on the lanai every morning and watched the sun come up. View of the coast line. the big island has a very rocky coast line Ate lunch at Bubba Gumps. Best food.  Epic clam chowder and all kinds of shrimp. This is Hawaii’s Oldest church. They still have services on Sunday. The next 3 pictures are from the Black sand beach. This was the best beach. The ocean was beautiful. The turtle come onshore to rest.  There were 4 of them the day we were there and I saw more swimming in the ocean. As you can see they weren’t little turtles either.  I’ll post more pictures in the next few days.  Love you all ~~ Mitzi
