On Sunday morning last summer Dana was down the hillside working when he noticed a cat sitting on the fence.  He headed over toward it but realized it was way to big to be a house cat.  He came into the house to tell me about it and I grabbed the camera and headed out. Is it beautiful?! Love where we live! Love you all ~~Mitzi

2016 ARIVES We start the New Year off with the annual Jones bowling event.  We converge on 21st Century lanes at the opening of their day.  Taking 8 lanes (4 for the adults and 4 for the kiddos) we add our organized chaos to the establishment.  Some rent shoes, others had their own. Then the hunt begins for the perfect ball.  One that isn't to heavy but will allow your fingers to come out.  The competitive bowlers of the group polish up their own balls and prepare to crush the competition.  However this isn't your usual bowling game format.  I'll try to explain how we do this...... Each girl is assigned to al lane, but the guys are left to move around.  So we start by pairing a guy to a girl.  The girl throws the first ball, then the guy has to pick up what she left.  If by chance she gets a strike, the guy gets to go first the next frame and the girl has to pick up what's left.  At the end of the game we rotate the guys for the next game.  We get three games
