You're going to be a beautiful Bride. Today at Cottonwood Grille I attended a bridal showers for my niece Brianne (Mark's oldest daughter). This is her in the white dress. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio enjoying a nice lunch, visiting with family and celebrating Bri's upcoming big day. Here she is opening her presents. She got some really fun things, like this picnic bag. Everyone was teasing her about it being a baby diaper bag. But is was a really cool picnic bag that Becky gave her. Her Grandma on her mother's side made her a very cute apron. This is her Mom ~ Shelly (in the pink) Don't they look alike? Becky and Addie were there. Isn't this patio view gorgeous? We even had this big bully frog appear on the pond for a few minutes. Jessie, Megan and Salena were there, so was Sharlene but I didn't get her in a picture. I'm so excited!!! I really don't have any 4th of July decorations and I just love this. It comes as kit, so I'll post picture of mine when I get it done. Isn't it cute! Love you all ~~Mitzi

Some times hard work does pays off. At work every quarter the VP has an All-Hands meeting. As part of this meeting they hand out 3 excellence awards and 1 excellence VP award. This award is for the individual who has demonstrated clear superior performance excellence during the quarter related to customer service, leadership execution, accountability, initiative and partnership across the organization. This quarter was I received the excellence VP award, boy was I surprised. Oh, I got a $25.00 gift certificate for the store as well. Love you all ~~Mitzi

............(drum roll, please)............... Not me :( At least not one of the money winners. But I am a winner of feeling great, having more energy and getting better on the soccer field (or at least thinking I'm getting better). Please don't burst my bubble about that one. Seriously, I lost 24.6 lbs in 24 weeks, so averaged a pound a week. I'm happy with that. Some of the winners didn't lose much more than me in weight but they were over 20% weight loss, I was only 11%. I still feel great about the progress and I plan to lose at least the same amount in the last 6 mths of the year. This a life style change. Thanks to everyone for the support. Love you all ~~Mitzi
