Senior Night

Image
Thursday night was Senior night. Thanks to all of the family that came out to support Tori on this special night. She really appreciated everyone for coming. Thanks to Terri for taking the pictures. Here we are with all the goodies that she got from the team, coaches and cheerleaders. This is almost the whole group. Kim's family isn't in the picture. At the home games the girls have T-shirts they toss to the fans. This picture is Tori tossing her shirt to her grandpa who just happens to be her biggest supporter. BIG THANKS to granny and papa for all of their love and support. She even got to play. Coach Brydges didn't start her Seniors but she did let them all play and she even made a point to have them all on the floor at the same time. Besides family she had some friends come and support her. This is Taylor, Chris and Jeff.

Going PINK~~~~~~~

Image
Last Friday at the BBall game against Mtn View, Boise had a "PINK ZONE" for Breast Cancer. They ask the fans to wear pink. The players had pink warm up shirts, pink shoe laces and pink wrap hairbands. They did a raffle and I missed winning the bike by 4 tickets... Dang I should have bought more...... It was the Lewis's turn for snack bags, so we found these really cute bag and tried to get all snacks that were pink (pink gum, pink lemonade pouchs, pink M&M's, you get the picture). We also got pink lai's that the girls all wore while the watched the JV game. They thought that they would wear them for the warmup until they tried shooting with them at the half of the JV game. They were just so annoying........... Tonight we played Rocky Mtn. Tori got a lot of playing time tonight and did a great job. Thursday night is SENIOR NIGHT so anyone that wants to come support Tori on her special night is more than welcome. This will be our last home game. We st

Still in Second

Image
Well basketball is still proceeding. We lost to Centennial, again, but we are still beating everyone else. So second place is still ours. We have 3 games left. Mtn View on Saturday, Rocky Mtn on Tuesday, then Senior night on Thursday against Timberline (all at Boise High). Tori got to play quite a bit last night at the Meridian games, so she was really excited. Who knows if she will get any time tomorrow, it always depends upon how well the starters are playing. She did get her acceptance letter to University of Idaho. She was pretty excited about that. I'm not sure she is going to go there. It is looking more and more like she is going to stay here at BSU. (Yeah...)

Fun Pics

Here are some miscellaneous pictures............ Tori all dressed up for her New Year's Eve party. This was New Year's Eve, the boys are very into their game - Zach, Ayden , Cayton , Hunter Miss Bentley at Christmas time. Tori was trying to figure out what to wear to school. I just had to capture a picture of the "Fashion Queen" in this attire.

Basketball update

Image
I haven't update y'all on basketball lately, so I thought I would post a quick update. We are two games into the second half and Boise is currently in second place in the conference. We have our toughest game next Friday night playing the first place team on their home turf - Centennial. So far it has been a frustrating season for Miss Tori. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when she gets to play or how much. She is pretty discouraged but hanging in there.
