I’m getting better and better at dodging bullets.  Well, I’m not so sure that true but I did luck out again to keep my job.  They did another big re-org at work this week and was saved.  Our team did get moved under Vendor Management with a new Director and VP but I think that will be good.  We really do belong with vendor management. This will be the first time in the 10 years I’ve been with Albertsons/Supervalu that I have had a different VP. I’m optimistic that this will improve and that this was a good re-org. ~~Mitzi

Fun day doing fun crafting. Started out with making sugar cookies.  Tried my hand with decorating with royal icing but I got it too thick to do what I wanted so I just did squiggly lines. They don’t look too bad and they taste awesome!!!                    WHAT????  I had to test them out.  Didn’t want anyone getting sick……………… Next up on my fun crafting day…… I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to use my 40% off coupon and found picture frames 50% off.  I’ve been meaning to make these and since the frames were on sale, I just couldn’t pass it up.  Aren’t they cute!!!!!!   You can change them up for the different holidays.  FUN…FUN….FUN…. Two weeks ago my laptop decided to go on vacation without getting permission.  My wonderful baby brother did what he does best and diagnosed that it was the CPU.  We priced some CPU’s and I would need a new battery as well, so we decided it was the same amount of money to just buy a new one.  So I did and it came today…………. Now I just need to get the data off of the other machine and get familiar with this new keyboard.  Keys are just off a little from my other one. Fun stuff!!!!!! Love you all ~Mitzi

As the year comes to an end I have decided to take a moment and reflect on the past year.  I’ve tried do keep this blog updated this year so you have probably already read about our highlights, so I’m sorry if this is boring but I’ll try to cover things that I haven’t already covered. Let me start with the baby, Alex.  Al is 17 and a senior at Arts West (a private art school in Eagle, ID).  This is his second year there and although he is struggling a little bit with Senioritis, I think he is still enjoying it.  There for a while he was living with a friend in Eagle so that he would be closer to school, but we finally resolved the car situation and he now has his own transportation, so he’s back home with us.  Not sure what he plans are for college yet but we are just being happy with the small success, such as graduating from high school.  He helped his grandparent this summer with their shaved ice shacks, working events and helping grandpa make sugar wa...

Dana’s sister Laura is undergoing treatment for breast cancer and to show support for her Dana decide to shave his head. Take a look: We Love you Laura and are praying for you to get well soon. Love you all ~~ Mitzi

Here is a little family update.  Alex moved back home in November.  Yah!!!!  Once we were able to get him his own transportation he decided that the living situation wasn’t the best and that he wanted to come home.  At this point we are trying really hard to get him through this senior year and get him graduated.  Here is a picture of him that I found on Art’s West website that was taken at retreat at the start of the school year.  Those of you know Alex, know that he evades the camera, so I take the pictures that I can get when I can get them.
