Lewis Scuttlebutt

I found this frame wreath on Pinterest and thought it was sooo cute, so I thought I would make my own. Had to make a few adjustments.  I don’t have a solid wood door, we just have a glass screen porch door, so I didn’t want to leave the frame without a backdrop, I was afraid that the fence and words would get lost. so I put in brown paper to help them “pop”.   I like the silver textured spray paint I used on the frame and fence, it really helps the pinwheels stand out.  As you probably noticed I didn’t us the word “welcome”.  When I was at the craft store I could not find letters or a whole word that I liked.  I did find the word “Laugh”.  This just makes me smile when I read it.  I hope that it makes others smile too. Well it’s time to get the crafts going and to get the 4th of July display up.  So Tori and I got together and got craftin’.   Here is the finished product.  They turned out very cute, if I do say so myself. With help from Pinterest for fabulous idea, I put together this amazing display.   LOVE IT!!! Love you all ~ Mitzi

On my plate today was my wonderful dad’s 81 birthday. Happy Birthday, Dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you lots

Was looking at The Idea Room blog the other day and she was talking about Instagram.  Well, I have Instagram on my phone but I haven’t played with it very much.  She was talking about the photo a day challenge from Instagram.  Here is the list for June. The idea is to capture your everyday life.  So I decided to give it a go.  How ever I did miss Day 1. Day 2 – Empty I’ll post my pictures go keep checking back to see what I find to fill my list.
