Lewis Scuttlebutt

I have reached another milestone on my journey.  I’m at 175 lbs., lost 46 lbs., have 20 lbs. to goal. June was a slow moving month but I got things going again in July.  I have to say that since I have started this journey I have not gained any weight.  There have been a few weeks that I didn’t loose, but I haven’t had any ups in my graph. Sometimes I think that goal is still miles away, but I just remind myself that is what I thought when I started and look where I am now. This has become my motto……. I just keep plodding along……. Finally posting my 4th of July Pictures.  Had a fabulous day with family.  Salena put together a great day of fun…. I’m having so much fun making digital scrapbooking templates/page. I’ve been going through my pictures and scanning them into the computer so that I can keep making them.  Here are a couple of the templates I just completed.  Just need to decide what pictures to drop into them. I’m 22 weeks into my weight loss journey and it is going steady.  I’m down 40 pounds, 18% of my body weight lost and averaging about 2 pounds a week. I have 26 pounds to get to goal.  I’m not complaining.  Love you ALL ~~ Mitzi

I love the beach!!! It would be my dream to leave on the beach or close.  I keep hoping that all the prediction from the 70’s about California falling into the ocean would come true. A person can dream, can’t they?! So instead I have decorated my bathroom with a beach theme.  Today I made a new chalkboard art to change things up a little.  Here’s the designed piece. My Niece Salena is quite the party planner.  She did a birthday party for her son Deacon who was turning 4 and Hunter (Ryan & Terri’s son) who was turning 15 in conjunction with Mother’s day.  It was a Dr. Seuss theme and part of the mother’s day was for the kids to dress up their mothers. On May 18th my baby girl graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General Business.  Here are some pictures of my beautiful daughter. Here is the whole group Tori is on the right, a little above the orange cap, She has white writing and a picture of a bronco on her cap.  If you click on the picture and enlarge it you can find her. This is Chad, her boyfriend. (you can see what her cap looks like for the picture above) This is her best friend – Shandra Dana and I are so proud of her and this great accomplishment.
